About Us

The Real Unpolished Story

Becoming a mum changes everything. And honestly? No one really tells you how much.

It rewired my brain. Suddenly, I knew what mattered and what didn't. I didn't want my whole day to belong to someone else's idea of "success." I didn't want to miss the tiny moments while chasing the big ones. I didn't want to be that mum always saying "I'm too busy" when my daughter wanted to show me something.

So I started this. Not from some burning passion for tableware (if I am honest), but from NEED.

I NEEDED something that was MINE.

I NEEDED to actually see my daughter grow up.

I NEEDED permission to pause when I needed to breathe.

I NEEDED to define success on my own terms.

The In-Between

Here's what this actually looks like:

I'm showing up as a mum every single day. I'm building this whole thing in the margins, before my daughter gets home from school, between drop-offs and pick-ups, late nights after bedtime, lunch breaks I steal when I can.

It's not glamorous. Some days I'm running on fumes and cold coffee. Some days I genuinely wonder if I'm building something real or just very good at pretending.

But then someone messages saying a piece we curated is part of their morning ritual now. Or that their guests asked about their table. Or that their first dinner party felt special because of the pieces that were on their table. Or that they're building their home, their story, with pieces we chose for them.

And I remember exactly why I'm doing this.

Not for Instagram. Not for some big exit or valuation. For freedom. For choice. For my daughter to see that you can build something yours, on your own terms, without sacrificing the life you actually want to live.

The Name

When we were rebranding, we were in the middle of loss and clarity at the same time.

Zi — Zion, my German Spitz of 15 years. He was my constant. My silent companion through college, starting careers, moving cities, becoming a mum, every big decision. He left us just as we were making this change, and I needed his name in everything that comes next.

N — Nhyrvi Yvette, my daughter. The person who made me ask "what do I actually want from life?" She's the reason this exists.

V — Varun, my husband. An equal partner in everything, in the messy mornings, in the dreams, in the building. He doesn't get enough credit but deserves all of it.

Ra — Raysasaana. That's me. The one making the decisions, packing the orders, reading your emails at midnight, wondering if this is crazy.

Zinvera Home is all of us. Everyone who matters. Everyone who made this possible.

What We Actually Do

Zinvera Home isn't just ceramic dinnerware and home decor. It's pieces selected by someone who actually uses them. By someone who has limited time and even more limited patience for things that don't work in real life.

Every piece we choose has to earn its place:

  • Beautiful enough to make everyday moments feel special
  • Versatile enough to survive nights with toddler chaos
  • Timeless enough that you won't be tired of in six months
  • Affordable enough that you're not stressing about using it

We source from artisans and suppliers who care about quality. We test everything ourselves. We reject way more than we accept. We pack every order by hand with care that probably isn't scalable, but we don't care yet.

The Non-Negotiables

We're not chasing perfection. We're chasing intentionality.

We're not trying to be everything to everyone. We're here for people who believe that your everyday deserves to feel beautiful. That your dining table tells your story. That the way you gather matters.

We're building slow. Deliberately.

We'll stay small enough to care about each customer.

We'll stay human enough to admit when we mess up.

We'll stay real enough to share the messy parts alongside the beautiful ones.

Why Zinvera Home?

Different Reasons. Same Belief.

For You Building Your Home Together

Your home deserves pieces as special as this milestone. Everything should tell the story of you beginning your life together.

We know renting doesn't mean settling. We know that "first" matters—first Diwali, first Christmas table, first dinner party, first everything.

This is for your first everything.

For You who believes in Making Everyday Beautiful

You don't need a showroom. You don't need Instagram perfection. You need pieces that bridge the gap between your Tuesday pasta and Saturday dinner parties.

Your morning coffee matters just as much as your hosted dinner. Your table should feel like you, not like everyone else's.

This is for making your everyday feel less everyday :)

For You the Host who loves Elevated Entertaining

You've outgrown basics. Your food is restaurant-quality. Your guests deserve a table that matches that energy.

We get it. You're not just hosting. You're creating experiences. Your table should reflect that.

This is for people who understand that hospitality is an art form.

For you who believes in Thoughtful Gifting

You care about relationships. You care about making a mark. And you have zero bandwidth for endless research.

We built our gifting system for exactly this: curated options organized by occasion and price point.

This is for the person who gives the best gifts without sacrificing your sanity.

For You who loves Making Celebrations Memorable

You want to be known as the friend with the best gifts. The one people actually remember. The one who gets it.

Your gifts shouldn't be generic. They should be thoughtful. They should make people think of you fondly every time they use them.

This is for you, the celebration connector who cares about making moments special.

For You who believes in Intentional Curation

You don't do collections. You do one perfect piece at a time. You'd rather have 12 things you love than 100 things you tolerate.

We get it. For you, everything has to earn its place. Nothing's filler. Nothing's "good enough."

This is for people who believe less is more, but what you have should be exceptional.

Our Promise

We're not going to oversell you on quality that isn't there. We're not going to charge designer prices for curated pieces. We're not going to make promises we can't keep.

Here's what we actually promise:

Every piece we choose has been tested by real people in real homes.

We use them ourselves. We give them to friends. We ask the real questions: Does it survive everyday use in the microwave? Will someone actually love it in six months? Is the price fair? Does it align with our standards?

If the answer to any of those is "no," it doesn't make the cut. We'd rather have a smaller collection of things we genuinely stand behind than a huge catalog of mediocrity.

We care about the people behind the purchases.

Your order isn't a transaction to us. You're celebrating something; a first home, a special occasion, a moment that matters. We pack with intention. We include handwritten notes. We check tracking like nervous parents.

Is it scalable? Probably not. Do we care? Not yet.

We're honest about what we are and aren't.

We're not a luxury brand. We're not a mass-market brand. We're a small team building something real; slowly, intentionally. Some months we'll have things in stock. Some months we won't. Sometimes we'll mess up shipping-wise and own it.

We're not perfect. But we're ours.

The Bigger Picture

Zinvera Home exists because someone (maybe even you) deserves to own their time back.

Because everyday moments deserve beauty.

Because your table tells your story.

Because thoughtful gifting matters.

Because building slowly beats building fast.

It exists because I needed it to, and maybe you do too.

We're not here to change the world.

We're here to make your table and your everyday feel a little more like YOU.

That's the whole thing.
