Can I place a custom order?
We'd love to, but custom orders aren't our thing right now. We curate collections specifically so you get thoughtful, vetted pieces, not endless options.
That said, if you have a specific request (different color, size, or quantity), reach out at info@zinverahome.com, Instagram DM or Whatsapp. We'll let you know if it's possible.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards, UPI, and digital wallets through our secure payment partner. Your payment information is never stored with us.
Additionally, we also accept COD at an additional convenience charge.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. We use encrypted payment processing. Your card details aren't shared with us, they go straight to our payment processor.
Can I save my payment info?
Not with us (we don't store payment info). But your browser might ask to save it for future use. That's between you and your browser.
Do you offer payment plans or EMI?
Not currently. But if you have a specific need, connect with us and we'll see what we can do.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is on Us. No surprise fees.
Unless you'd want Express delivery, which will be calculated based on your delivery pincode and order cost. You'll see the exact cost at checkout before you pay.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We're India-focused right now. If you're outside India, email us, we're curious about demand.
What if my pincode isn't serviceable?
Some remote areas are tricky. We'll flag them at checkout with a message. If you still want to order, reach out to us and we'll figure out delivery options with you.
How long does shipping take?
Standard (5-7 business days): Most pincodes, most of the time
Express (2-3 business days): Select metro pincodes only
We're honest about this because December and festival seasons get crazy. If we think it'll take longer, we'll tell you upfront.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You'll get a tracking number via WhatsApp once we ship. Our courier partners send updates too. If you don't get updates, it means it's moving steadily. No news is (usually) good news.
What if my order is late?
First, check the WhatsApp tracking to see where it actually is. If it's genuinely late beyond our communicated date, email us at hello@zinverahome.com with your order number. We'll escalate with the courier and keep you updated.
Can I change my delivery address after ordering?
Only if you reach out within 1-2 hours of placing the order. After that, the order's usually on it's way to be packed and shipped. Email us immediately if you need this and we'll do our best.
Do you ship during festivals/holidays?
Yes, but sometimes timelines might be longer. We'll be clear about this at checkout. If you need something by a specific date, choose express shipping or reach out before ordering.
What if a courier can't find my address?
They'll usually call the number you provided. Make sure your address is clear and your phone is reachable. If there's an issue, they'll reach out and we'll help sort it.
Are these pieces food safe?
Yes. All our ceramics are food-safe and can hold hot and cold foods/drinks. We only work with pieces that meet safety standards.
Are they dishwasher safe?
Most are. Check the product description for specific care instructions. When in doubt, hand wash (handmade pieces appreciate a gentle touch anyway).
Are they microwave safe?
Most are, but check the product page. Some pieces with certain glazes or decorations shouldn't go in the microwave. We're clear about this upfront.
Can I put them in the oven?
Check individual product pages. Some can, some can't. We'll always tell you.
Why are there small bubbles/imperfections in my piece?
Because it's handmade. Those tiny bubbles, slight color variations, and minor asymmetries are proof that a human made this, not a machine. They're features, not flaws. They don't affect function or safety.
If you're uncomfortable with handmade variations, let us know before you order and we can suggest machine-made alternatives.
How do I care for my pieces?
General:
- Hand wash when possible (more gentle)
- Use soft sponges, avoid harsh scrubbing
- Dry gently
Specific care instructions come with your order. Follow those and your pieces will last years.
Will the glaze chip over time?
With normal use, no. Our pieces are made to last. If you're using them daily and gently, they'll hold up beautifully for years.
Can I use these for serving hot food?
Yes, but be careful with thermal shock. Don't go from cold to very hot (or vice versa) suddenly. Let pieces adjust to temperature changes gradually.
Are these pieces lead-free?
Yes. We only work with suppliers who meet safety standards. All our pieces are lead-free and safe for food and drink.
Can you ship directly to the recipient?
Yes. At checkout, provide their address in the Shipping Address and we'll ship there instead.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes. Most of our gift collections come with gift wrapping / gift box included.
If not from the gifting collection, you can add the gift wrap at checkout for an additional flat charge.
Can you include a gift note?
Absolutely. You can add a custom message at checkout and we'll include it handwritten with the order.
Do you do bulk orders for corporate gifting?
Yes. For bulk orders (10+ sets), email us at info@zinverahome.com with details:
- What you're ordering
- Quantity
- When you need it
- Budget/special requests
We'll get you pricing and options.
Can you customize gifts?
Limited customization for bulk orders. Reach out and let's see what's possible.
Gift subscriptions?
Not yet, but we like the idea. If you're interested, email us.
Can I return something I don't like?
No, we don't accept returns for change of mind. Our inventory is handmade and limited, so we need to protect what we have.

We're small enough to be human about it. We might work something out.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Send us an unboxing video showing the damage along with photos and your order number to hello@zinverahome.com.
We'll verify and offer a replacement or refund/store credit. Processing takes 7-10 business days usually.
How long does a refund take?
5-7 business days to appear in your original payment method after we process it.
Can I exchange for a different product?
If your piece arrived damaged, we'll send a replacement of the exact same item. If that's out of stock, you can choose:
- Refund
- Store credit (use it on anything)
We don't do exchanges for "I changed my mind" situations, but reach out and let's talk.
What if I receive the wrong item?
This shouldn't happen, but if it does, email us immediately at hello@zinverahome.com with photos and your order number. We'll send the correct item and arrange pickup of the wrong one.
Store credit, does it expire?
Nope. No expiration. Use it whenever you're ready.
Can I return items after 30 days?
Damaged items need to be reported within 7 days (with video evidence). After that, it's harder to verify if damage happened in transit or after you received it.
We hope you understand given the nature of the products.
If it's genuinely damaged and you're just reaching out late, contact us anyway. We'll do our best to help.
Are you actually a small business?
Yes. We're bootstrapped, founder-led, and pack orders by hand. We're not VC-backed or part of a larger conglomerate. It's literally just us and our commitment to quality
Why are prices sometimes higher than mass-market brands?
Because we curate instead of mass-produce. We test everything. We pack with care. We stand behind our pieces. Quality costs more, and we're honest about that.
Are your products sustainable?
We try. We work with suppliers who care about quality and ethics. We're not perfect, but we're intentional. If you have questions about a specific piece's sourcing, ask and we'll tell you what we know.
